video performance

For my video performance on showing my relationship with technology, I needed to show my strong reliance on it for many things, but most of all my memory. In high school I was diagnosed with auto-immune Thyroiditis, one of the main side effects being short term memory loss. For the last 4 years my phone has been my short term memory. I take atleast 1 picture almost every day of something I see during the day that I know will help me recall where I was and what I was doing that day. I write down things I want to remember, almost completely relying on it so that I don't have to repeat things to myself over and over in order for them to stick in my long term memory. These pictures and notes to myself are my short term memory and without them I would have a far more difficult time recalling things.
Therefore, my phone replaces my head all too often, and even though I would like to be able to remember things, technology has made it easier and more vivid, making my natural problem less of an influence on my daily life. Thanks, cell phone.
